Catching Up

To those who follow this blog, I just wanted to apologize for not posting as often as I would like. Time has been crazy this past couple of months, but I am beginning to see relief in my schedule for the coming days. Be on the lookout for some upcoming posts that will be thought provoking and challenging. Please be in prayer for me and my church. Thanks to you who have contacted me concerned about me.

No problem, Scott.
I am just now publishing a blog item after being away for a week. I have stopped by and attempted to stay in touch with this network of bloggers, throughout the week.
Tonight is the first opportunity I have had to write something new.

Scott, I know you don't need any more to do. But, I would like for you to consider promoting a message of peace by distributing the following link to as many people as you can.

Obama's born Conspiracy
The link above will take you to a blog from one of the analyst who determined Barak Obama's Certificate of Live Birth to be a forged copy. The blog will tell you exactly what he did to discover the fraud and display the evidence. It took me nearly two hours to get through this.
Give credit to Christine of Talk Wisdom for sending this on to me.
I believe if you ask your friends, congregation and readers to take this link, and distribute it to as many people as they possibly can, we may be able to avoid a race war which the mainstream media is setting us up for by not reporting the story as it unfolds. What we can do is soften the shock and ease anger before the possibility of The SCOTUS announcing they will try the case.

Jim, I just wanted to let you know that I don't like to get caught up into political babble. I think there is a lot of evangelicals out there right now who are trying to instill fear into the hearts and minds of people. I appreciate your concern, but I will have to decline your request, not because I disagree with the findings, but I want my readers, as well as myself, to focus on Christ, not Obama.
Please understand this is not an attack on your concerns, but I do feel like we are better able to promote peace and love, by promoting Jesus and not whether or not Obama was born in the U.S. or not. There is practically no possible way that he is the anti-Christ or anything of the sort.
It is not profitable for me nor the Kingdom to get wrapped up in this debate or 'conspiracy'. I would encourage you and others to begin praying for our President-elect. God is in control, and he will have his way. There is nothing we can do to change or manipulate his will.

All that to say, I will have to decline.

Understood, Scott.
We have to take up our cross where we feel we are called.

We can promote peace by promoting Jesus. The problem is, in this issue, people don't want to believe in Christ. They want to believe in Obama. Time Magazine even allowed its reputation to stupe to calling Obama the Messiah.

No regrets. I am just persuing avenues to get the message out. The forensics on the documents is overwhelming. I can not understand the silence from the media. So, I think we can do a great work for the Lord in softening the blow the media is building with their silence by getting peoples hearts prepaired for the possibility the Court will hear this case.

Please do not feel that I am attempting to convict you. Some are called to different challenges. I believe I have a calling to this.

Jim, thanks for your understanding, and believe me I realize that you are not trying to pressure me.

In reference to people not believing Christ but believing in Obama, well this has taken place for years. Paul ran into this when people started looking to him and barnabus and others, instead of Christ. Paul always points back to Christ. We Christians, as I see it and understand Scripture, especially here in America need to understand that our allegiance is first to the Kingdom of God. We must practice our liberties carefully, and must not get caught up in the things of this world. God reigns, and Obama is going to be in office if God wills for it to be so. It may not be the best interest of our human desires for our country, but as Paul says, all things work together for those who love God and are called according to his purposes.
So that is one of my premises for not trying to discredit Obama or prove that he is a liar. My focus is to be on pointing people to Christ and his cross.
I say that not to dispute your statement, but letting you in on my perspective. I fear that all to often American Christians get too involved in the political propaganda at the cost of our testimony. True peace, life changing peace can only be found in Christ. If people don't want to accept that, then it is going to take the power of the Holy Spirit to change their hearts and minds. However, our main criteria as followers of Christ is to point people to our leader.
I heard a great quote many years ago and it still remains true, "we can't blame the dark (sinful) world for being dark (practicing sin), but we can blame the light (Christians) for not shining their light (pointing to Christ)in the dark world."
Good discussion though.

Congrats Scott! There is nothing more difficult nor as rewarding than being a parent. I have learned more about grace and love than I ever thought possible when my sons where born. As a guy trying to walk the spiritual path I also understood God and his love for us more also. This is going to be a wonderful journey for you and your wife. Keep me in the loop as things progress.
