J.I. Packer on the ESV Study Bible

If you haven't pre-ordered your copy of the ESV Study Bible, you really should go and do so. It is due out October 15th. I have had mine on order now for about a month, and I am anticipating its arrival on my front step soon.

The following is a video of J.I. Packer discussing his thoughts on the Bible:

Thank you for sharing this with us. I hope you and your mother are doing better. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. I am getting a copy of the ESV very soon. I think it might be a great way to get points across.

Kenny,
Thanks for your concern and prayers. Mom is doing about the same, and I am doing fine, just stressed.

I grew up on the King James, then as an adult began using New King James and the NASB. I began using the ESV over a year ago and love it. I find it to be easy to read, while holding the integrity of the original language. I use it every time I preach, as well as in my personal study time. I would recommend it to everyone. In fact, I purchased one for each of my deacons, and they really seem to like it. You will not regret your purchase of the ESV, and I am sure you will find it to be a great asset to your ministry.
